Pregnancy Update

 How far Along?

I'm 37 weeks today (aka FULL TERM!)

How big is Baby?

According to my Sprout Pregnancy app on the iPhone baby is somewhere around 6 1/2 pounds and 19 inches long.

How am I feeling?

Feeling pretty good. Lazy at times, but most of the time just good and relaxed. 

Weight?

I haven't weighed myself this week, but at my last appointment I had gained about 27 pounds. 

What do I miss?

Hiking, doing 5k's, and biking. Who would've thunk! I guess because the weather has been beautiful and perfect for those activities that I just can't wait to get back out there (only this time with my little chubster). 

Symptoms?

Peeing like CRAZY! And I don't know why, but when I'm laying down seems like that's when I gots to go even more! lol

Cravings?

Mango. Mango. and Mango. I do crave other fruits as well, but Mango is little Alejandro's favorite :)

Highlights of the week?

Two things. One he's full term now! Which means he can come any day now :) and Two... we got his cool new stroller. I never ever thought getting baby gear would make me so happy. I couldn't even sleep just imagining having him in it and going for a stroll. :)

Surprise Baby Shower @ Work

So yesterday, my coworkers surprised me with a babyshower at work. It was the cutest thing ever! I really, really, really wish I would've taken more pictures, but sadly I left my phone in the office and didn't want to step out to get it :/.

Any who, all were there and in good spirits, so the vibe really made me feel the love :)

The food was amazing as they did my favorite dish CEVICHE... only that without shrimp as at the moment I can't have :( The cake was also my favorite tres leches and was so cutely decorated that I didn't want to cut into it, but I had to :( lol.

Baby Alejandro got lots of goodies, including an awesome car seat that he can use from birth to elm. years. Lot's of cute baby clothes and some baby necessities, and a baby carrier which hubby and I played with last night. We also got a bunch of gift cards that we can't wait to spend :) lol

So overall, great times! :)

3D Ultrasound

Got to see my little man today... it was so exciting. Seeing him move around and YAWN was the cutest. At first he did not want to cooperate. He had his foot right in front of his face for like 10 minutes! However, soon after he moved it and let us take a peek at his face. I truly think he's a perfect mix of both hubby and I, but his lips are all ME! It's actually funny because when I texted these pictures to my sis and brother that is the first thing they both commented on. LOL

Overall, it was a good experience and we're pleased to have this memory of him :) BTW, he is still a HE :)

So much has happened....

I've had a pretty eventful May... it's been a hectic one to say the least. But a positive one :)Let's see... well, a major event was that my little niece was born. Her name is Pearl Charlize. She weighed 8lbs 14.5oz. An adorable little baby who is probably the calmest baby I've met. She looks just like her daddy too! I'm very happy to have her in my life and although we are TTC I feel perfectly fine around her... God, has truly blessed me with patience and love for her. I was scared that I'd be ridden with jealousy but thank GOD that is not the case :)My temps have been all over the place. So much so that it just upsets me to think about them. Seriously, I have no idea what is going on. I feel like maybe the metformin has stopped working? I don't know the MC seems to truly have affected my hormones because I'm on day 40 and no sign of ovulation :(... I haven't gained or lost any weight either, so I don't know... I'm stumped. Regardless, I'm gonna try to think positive and pray things straighten out soon.
